Annies Childrens Center - Downtown II

This was my younger daughter’s first experience in daycare and being away from home, and the teachers at Alayna’s Daycare provided the support she needed to feel comfortable and cared for. I truly appreciate the kindness, patience, and attentiveness they showed every day. In particular, I want to highlight Ms. Jasmine in the Dragonflies room. She was incredibly supportive and always took the time to comfort my daughter when she was adjusting to the new environment. In the Butterfly room, we were so fortunate to have Ms. Heaven and Ms. Lizzy as her teachers. Ms. Heaven is a born educator, so caring, creative, and dedicated to her students. And in the Preschool classroom, Ms. Heaven and Ms. Elaina were simply amazing. They made learning joyful and helped my daughter continue to thrive with confidence and curiosity. We are very grateful for the nurturing environment and the wonderful team at Alayna’s Daycare who made our daughter’s first daycare experience so positive.

Our two daughters attend Alaina’s and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The teachers care deeply about all of the kids, are enthusiastic and welcoming. The app that the Center uses to communicate with parents also works well to provide updates about our daughters’ days at school, photos, and heads ups about colds or viruses that may be circulating (as they do at every daycare). You can drop your child off here in the morning and know that when you pick them up in the afternoon, they will have been well taken care of by professionals who care deeply about them.

We have been relying on Alaina’s since we moved to A2 and our son was six months old (and now continue with our second baby as well). They are a gem in the overwhelming world that is daycare. The staff are so polite and seem so genuinely concerned about every child in their care. They come up with great activities and excursions particularly in the summer. They foster a sense of community between staff and parents (everyone rallies when someone is going through tough times). I know my children are safe and in good, loving hands when I drop them off. We’re lucky to have them.

I have had two children attend Alaina’s Children’s Center. My oldest is an easy-going child. My youngest is pure lovable chaos with strong lungs. They treated both my kids like their own. I am so grateful. Their staff is kind and responsive to questions. Every caretaker my girls have had were loving and patient. I have no complaints and highly recommend Alaina’s.

Alaina's Children's Center was a very good place for my daughter to develop and get professional care from wonderful people. The facility is in good shape, clean, and spacious enough. The teachers are wonderful. Because this center in Ann Arbor, it’s a bit pricey and I wish it was a bit more affordable.
