I’m extremely disappointed and appalled by my experience with Angels Korner Daycare. As a single mom doing everything I can to support my child—who is currently being tested for potential learning and behavioral challenges—I was shocked and deeply hurt when the director Joanne outright told me she had “given up” on my child. This is not only disheartening, it’s incredibly unprofessional. Every child deserves patience, understanding, and support—especially when they’re going through developmental or behavioral difficulties. I expected a daycare to be a place of compassion and care, but what I received was the opposite. I wasn’t even given the courtesy of time to find alternative care—I was essentially dropped without notice, adding unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation. To make matters worse, the director, Joanne—who is not certified or qualified to diagnose children—went so far as to suggest that my son “has autism.” This was said without any professional basis, and it was completely inappropriate and out of line. Diagnosing or labeling a child without proper credentials is not only unethical, but potentially damaging. Additionally, the facility itself is lacking in basic developmental equipment. For instance, there are no climbing pads for toddlers—a standard and essential feature for safe, age-appropriate play. It’s clear this daycare expects every child to fit neatly into a one-size-fits-all mold, and there is little to no tolerance for children who may need extra attention, support, or understanding. This experience has left me scrambling, anxious, and incredibly disappointed. I had hoped to find a nurturing environment that partners with families through challenges—not one that gives up on a child or makes inappropriate assumptions. I would not recommend Angels Korner Daycare to any parent, especially those who have children that may not fit the “perfect” mold. My child deserves better!

Would recommend to any family that needs a safe and loving environment for their child. Best daycare around.

This place is the worst. Don’t ever send your child here. They say they help them with potty training and they don’t. Check your kid before you leave there mine was caked in poop and had made her butt raw. Looked like she had sat in it all day and when you start saying something about the problem they hang up the phone on you guess they don’t like hearing they are in the wrong.
