Angel Land Preschool @ North Richland Hills Baptist Church

I’m so thankful I made the decision to remove my son from this preschool. For a place that calls itself Christian, it never truly felt Christ-centered or loving toward my child. Every time I dropped him off, I couldn’t shake an uneasy feeling. The teacher’s smiles always felt forced, and there was a lack of genuine warmth or patience. My son is energetic and has his own challenges, but instead of showing understanding or support, the staff often seemed frustrated with him. They even asked that he be picked up early every day before nap time — without offering any discount on tuition, despite their short hours (8:45 AM to 2:15 PM). We received constant calls about minor issues, as if they simply didn’t know how to handle him or didn’t want to try. What really confirmed my concerns was when a close family friend went to pick him up one day and witnessed a teacher speaking harshly to him. She immediately mentioned feeling the same negative energy I had sensed all along. That was the final red flag for me. When I withdrew him, the staff showed no concern or compassion — no follow-up to ask how he was doing or if he found a better fit. It was clear they were relieved to see him go. They never shared photos or updates on the Famly app, and I often wondered if he was being separated from his classmates. Maybe other parents have had a different experience, but for us, Angel Land did not provide a nurturing or inclusive environment. Thankfully, my son is now in a new program where he is loved, supported, and thriving — exactly how every child should feel.

My kid has been going there since age 2. The staff and administration are so nice and welcoming. They always make sure my kids feels welcome when he walks in.

Would rate a 5 but wish the times were longer than only 8:45 to 2:15... other than that absolute love this place
