Just had an amazing time at the small park today! It's not just a park, it's also a water park! There's plenty of space for picnics on the grass and a fieldhouse. My kids and I had our first visit here, and it's super clean and lovely. Although the fieldhouse wasn't open, the kids had so much fun. We're coming back several times this summer!
Andersen Park has great amenities to host parties, events and camps. Center is well equipped for all types of occasions. Park is well maintained for kids of all ages. Great neighborhood park.
My boys had a great time here! Not a huge playground but lots of fun and good clean equipment. The water area was really fun to the children also the dogs who visited. Community and others were friendly as well too. Benches close enough to view whole playground. I'm not sure if the bathrooms were open or not. There is also great grass areas if you wanted to have a picnic. Will definitely return.
This is a nice small neighborhood park. located on quiet block and also has a sprinkler water feature there which is lots of fun on a hot day. It started raining a bit while my nieces and I were there so it made the slides extra slippery those girls were sliding off super fast. Which only made it a bit better. We also had a picnic up on the small hill in the park it was a perfect spot and the girls found a restaurant style booth as part of the playground equipment and had their lunch up there. All in all they had a great time!!
Great park. Perfect in summer because of the splash pad and big grassy areas to sit on a blanket. Wish there was some more shaded areas though. Big and little kid size equipment as well. The park uses wood chips as opposed to the bouncy ground (like at the OP elementary schools).
