We unfortunately had to pull both of our children from what used to be a loving, thriving daycare. After most of their teachers walked out in February under new leadership, I began to fear the safety of my children in this facility. I sat down with the headmaster and committee members in tears over what had happened to such a wonderful facility, but it seemed that they only were worried about their own agenda and protecting their pastor… older, and very out of touch with the needs of todays parents and children. I put so much energy into helping turn this daycare around but they cannot see what the issue is for some reason, even after the loss of all of their daycare teachers, K-2 teachers, and 3/4 of their student population. I really hope this place can turn it around, it filled a huge need for our community.
I want to make others aware of ABC Preschool. This was once a great school with great people that once worked there. However, since January 2023, the place has and still significantly gone downhill. It was a mass amount of staff that had worked there for years that up and left because of the nastiness of the preacher who wanted to take over. Before he wanted to become involved, the preschool was striving and doing well with the parents and children. Almost all the parents took their kids out of school. There has been inconsistencies and abuse that happened at this school, which happened to my child. Which CPS found the person guilty. Also, because of the "HEADMASTER" and his followers, the teachers of the PRIMARY SCHOOL will not be coming back for the upcoming school year in August. The staff that did stay were overworked, unable too take bathroom breaks, having kids sit in a hall because of staff/children ratio, and hired young and immature people who would come in when it pleased them. Directors that would take a position and then just up and leave/quit. Now, since they have lost most of their income from the loss of the children the HEADMASTER is letting go people that have worked there and still putting applications on Indeed. I suggest you look for another Preschool, I can give you a list of names that can back me up. These people who are in the committee are snakes.
A small but lovely group of people trying to walk in Christ. There is a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to get involved. From kids and youth ministries to adult small groups, this church has plenty to offer.
