I will say as a parent, new to this district, instructions within this administration are minimal and efficiency is lacking. It took almost a month to get my daughter registered for school due to our address being “too new” (I understand this which is why i began the registration process a month in advance). However, my home is over 2years old and I understand Alvarado is growing but there has to be a more efficient way to help families better acclimate going forward. Whether that be a system update or staffing update, something needs to change! None of the assistants/admins at the schools can effectively do their jobs due to having to wait for one person in admin, this is ridiculous. I’m upset more or less because my daughter can’t play the sport she wants to due to lack of information on the schools websites and/or in administrations office (but I will update my experience with them on their reviews.) However, I’m not all complaint and believe in a way forward and would like to know how can the community be of help or who can i speak with regarding updates/correspondence for the inevitable growth of Alvarado ISD?
This school district is ridiculous as they decided to suspend my child for 10 days simply because he lowered the bus window to cool down.
For me personally, they have very good service, very friendly reception (Ericka)
They take 2 hour lunch breaks phone number isnt right
