What Parents Say
Alphabetland Early Childhood Education Center receives mostly positive reviews praising the caring staff, nurturing environment, and strong parent communication through daily updates and photos. However, one parent raised serious concerns about excessive screen time on iPads and televisions, citing state inspection violations related to safety and childcare practices.
πππππ We are beyond grateful for the exceptional care and love our child received at Alphabetland. From day one, we felt welcomed, supported, and truly part of a community. The staff goes above and beyond and not just in providing a safe and nurturing environment, but in building real, meaningful connections with each child and family. Our child has grown so much emotionally, socially, and academically thanks to the dedicated and compassionate team here. Every day was filled with learning, laughter, and care. As a parent, nothing is more comforting than knowing your child is genuinely seen, valued, and supported. This daycare has been more than just a place of careβ¦itβs been a second home. We feel eternally grateful to have found such a gem in our town and will always carry the warmth of this community in our hearts. Highly, highly recommend to any parent looking for a place where their child will be safe, happy, and truly thrive.
My 1.5 old daughter is currently enrolled at the daycare. The two caretakers are very sweet. We interact via ClassDojo. They are constantly sending me pictures. I also receive a daily paper with all the activities completed. I would recommend the daycare.
If I could give zero stars I could. Staff are not qualified. My 2.5 year old son came home after a few weeks saying "Blippi, Cocomelon classroom." We don't put on garbage tv like that in the house, which led me to believe they are putting these shows on and letting children passively watch instead of doing structured educational activity. I called Sahar, the director herself, and she admitted to children watching these programs on iPad while the tv was being fixed. Why am I paying over $650 a month for teachers to put on tv/ipad that rots their brain? This is absolutely unacceptable and our children deserve better. I should have done more due diligence on the center before enrolling my child, and if you look up the inspection report through the NJ state website. There are numerous violations having to do with safety, structure and poor childcare practices. Please do yourselves a favor and take your child elsewhere. Our children deserve a higher standard of care.
They are the best. Just in a month my son start speaking Arabic, praying and knowing a lot about Quran perfectly.
I had a tour here recently and found it to be welcoming. Just a note, my children are not enrolled here, but would like to share my thoughts. Teachers were very kind-staff was extremely present and tending to all my questions/concerns. It was a very clean, nurturing environment. I got the feeling that these sisters were all mothers and aunts who strive to see the kids do well. The space was pleasantly large and comparable to most preschools. They do take infants as well for daycare. I found classes of preK4 to be structured and was told that they follow the same school curriculum as their public schools. Iβm writing this in hopes of helping other parents in search of a suitable Islamic school to tour. Again this is a school for youngsters infant-preschool; so my expectations not too high. Located at JMIC masjid in Boonton-2nd floor.
