Alpha Academy

My daughter has been attending Alpha for about a year now, and I’m truly grateful we found this wonderful place. Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is never easy, but Ms. Dora and the entire team have treated my daughter like family from day one. There are days when she would rather stay at daycare than come home—which, as a parent, is such a comforting feeling. It means she feels safe, happy, and loved there. I truly couldn’t recommend this daycare more highly.

This has been a great place for our son. They treated him well and he enjoyed his experience. The director and the staff understood his needs and met him where he was at. We are going to miss this place so much as our baby moves on to PK. Thank you for you dedication and for treating our baby with care and love. Highly, highly recommended.

WORTH THE READ.. I am extremely disappointed in this facility. First off, I had such a high impression of this place because Its beautiful, I had spoken to the director and asked if she had worked with children on the Autism spectrum disorder, which is the case for my 2.8yr old son. She told me that they had the experience and they successfully helped these children, that they allowed the therapists to come and see them at the center, and that they had the curriculum of a preschool. I was immediately sold, until I was told about the price. I was so disappointed because it was out of my range, but she guaranteed me that this facility offered “quality care.” Even though I knew this place would hurt my budget so much I didn’t care, I wanted peace of mind that my child was going to be learning and taken care of properly. On the first day I was so excited to pick him up and see how he had done that day. And I got the news from the director who said “you know what, I’m sorry but we are not going to be able to take care of him here. We had a rough day with him.” I was so shocked, my mind thought that he was crying all day long and not complying. But the complaint was that he was grabbing papers from the wall, and walking around the facility and not sitting down, so basically my child was being curious. And if she had known, this behavior Is normal for a child on the spectrum, and honestly not bad my son Is very well behaved, quiet, keeps to himself. So It took one day, ONE DAY for my child to attend and for her to give up on him so quickly, not even give him a chance to get used to the place and an opportunity to improve, when all I wanted was for him to get preschool skills that they offered. She said “we will watch him this week, but not after that” because I had already paid ahead along with the deposit. If I’ve had known that this was going to be a “lets see if we can handle him” situation because that’s what It felt like I would have not let him stay. I was devastated because my child was ONCE AGAIN looked down upon because he is a little different, and I get plenty of that EVERY DAY. So please Alpha Academy, make a disclosure to the parents with my situation that your philosophy only applies to certain children, and not to the children with disabilities.

One of the few places that gained my trust. Staff is rally trained and keep updating their curriculum's, kids actually follow a routine and learn a lot! Staff is friendly, the Director is a heartwarming person that you can communicate with.The establishment is ALWAYS clean, they have equipment for everyone and I haven't seen no one without smiling! Prices are affordable and well worth it, for me and my Family was the BEST option out there! Highly recommended it.

I was very discouraged upon searching for a daycare in the area until i found Alpha Academy. Its the best environment to have your child in. They work so well with the kids. My son won a spelling bee because they continued to help us with him learning his words. the director and staff are all friendly and very personable. LOVED IT! best in the area. I wish i could take this daycare to the new area we will be living in.
