Came here for tax prep and going for a free movie night. Had to wait a little longer than I would with another paid tax preparer but I am not complaining because it is completely FREE compared to what it usually costs to help get your taxes done. They were all very nice and pointed me to great programs and services offered by the community center. They also refer you to other organizations that can help you.

Was assigned to do court ordered community service here. Called in on Friday to make an appt to register, girl on the phone said no appt needed just to arrive 30 mins early on the day I planned to work to complete registration & that there was only janitorial work available. Monday I arrived 30 minutes early (8:30). And during the registration process she tells me the person who is in charge of “volunteers” isn’t in yet., I filled out my paperwork, etc, then she proceeds to tell me she has to get my application now “approved” before I can start my hours. And that someone will call me next week to schedule my hours?! They never had the decency to call. Why are they listed in the court system if they discriminate against court ordered volunteers. the work was not interacting with the public, it was janitorial?! I did not appreciate the judgmental treatment I encountered.

Excellent place for everyone, I take advantage of their Free Taxes Preparation. Never had no problems. The only problem I see is that people need to be patient, patience is a virtue. Awesome Place !!
