I recently toured sunshine and broccoli, and while the tour initially seemed to go well, I have since decided not to enroll my children there. During my visit, I noticed a strong odor of urine in the building and found the director's attitude to be somewhat off-putting. Furthermore, after speaking with several friends who are currently removing their children from the school, I was advised of more serious concerns. They mentioned that the owner, Mary, has made questionable decisions, including abruptly replacing the entire management team, dismissing students, and behaving aggressively toward parents. Given these reports of how leadership treats families, I am concerned about the overall environment for both the children and the staff. I wanted to share this feedback as you consider daycare options.
I could not have picked a better daycare for my daughter! All the teachers are so kind and really work with your child to help them thrive! You can tell right away that Ms. Theresa loves what she does and keeps the daycare running smoothly. They are also amazing with communication and keep you updated with photos, activities, and messages throughout the day.
All three of my children have had the most amazing experience at this school! The teachers are so loving and caring and do such a great job preparing the kids for kindergarten. Our family is so grateful for Sunshine and Broccoli and all the big hearted people there.
Been very happy at this school! The staff is great, always friendly, upbeat and take good care of our children. They seem to really care! Management has been great as well. Would definitely recommend S&B!
