My son has excelled at Alder Street Learning Center. All the teachers are dedicated, patient and care deeply about the well being of all the children. I have an entire wall of fun art from my son's 2 years there! I would recommend this daycare to anyone!
My twin girls started at Alder Street Learning Center 2 months ago. One of them was a little shy at first, but the teachers are excellent, the other kids are friendly and well adjusted, the play space, art activities, and daily outdoor time are just what we wanted- now every time we arrive outside the building, they exclaim with delight. Oooh- school! And when I pick them up, they're excited about all they've learned, run to me for a big hug, and are ready to do it all again the next day. We feel very lucky to have found this place.
My wife and I take our 18 month old son to ASLC and we (more importantly he) love it! The staff are friendly and great with kids. The class size is perfect with the ratios being spot on. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room to run and play. The director is great, she is always available and treats us like family. I recommend ASLC to anyone needing great care, in a great location with wonderful people.
Our daughter joined ASLC when we moved to Portland from Scandinavia. She was in the toddler room for 6 months and was then moved into the pre-schools. Both classes was amazing! The teachers are doing a great job and our daughter loved being in the school. All our best recommendations. We have just moved back to Scandinavia and one of the things we will miss the most is ASLC!
My daugther is 2 years old, she is happy and me too. The teachers are nice and sweet with children. Linda and rest of staff are very enthusiastic with kids. I'm feeling lucky to find this place for my princess!!!
