Both of our children have attended Lightbridge Academy in Fanwood since they were 4 months old, and it has been the best decision for our family. The teachers and staff are warm, loving, and incredibly supportive. Our children grow every day—learning in leaps and bounds—but what matters most to us is that their emotional well-being is cared for just as thoughtfully. That has truly made all the difference for our family. The infant classroom is our favorite, though every teacher we’ve encountered has been amazing—always welcoming and smilin and Ms. Daisy in the office is always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend Lightbridge to any parent feeling anxious about starting daycare.

Lightbridge in Fanwood is amazing ! My son was enrolled for a year. From the beginning it has been such a warm experience. We have received so much love from EVERYONE, from the infants class to the pre-k class and admins. My son has learned so much in such little time . Lightbridge is more than just a daycare. They truly felt like family and have been so supportive.

We love Lightbridge in Fanwood! Our son’s teachers, Ms. Ivette, Ms. Lydie and Ms. Andrea are the best. He is always excited to go to school and has the best time while he’s there. He has learned so much. The school communicates with families very well and we never feel out of the loop! 10/10!

We’ve loved watching Lightbridge grow and flourish over the past two years. It’s been amazing to see the transformation into such a nurturing, organized, and joyful environment where our son Leo is truly thriving. The team has worked so hard to create a space where children feel safe, happy, and supported—and it absolutely shows. We’re so grateful to be part of this caring and committed community. Our child attended this daycare from the time he was just 5 months old until he turned 4, and we couldn't be more grateful for the experience he had. Over the years, we consistently saw that the teachers were loving, attentive, and genuinely cared for the well-being and development of the children. The summer programs were always a highlight—centered around fun and water play, which the kids absolutely loved. We also really appreciated the daycare's effort to bring in outside specialists, like a sports coach and a karate instructor. These partnerships exposed our child to new activities and skills early on in a playful and structured way. A recent favorite addition (as of April 2025) has been the Story Time Chess program, which introduces young kids to chess through imaginative storytelling. It's both educational and engaging, and our child came home excited to share what he learned. One thing we really valued was how communicative and responsive the administration team is. They regularly send out surveys to gather parent feedback and are always open to meeting with families to talk through any questions or concerns. That level of openness made us feel heard and supported throughout our time there. If there’s one area we think could be improved, it would be the school’s hot lunch program. While it's a convenient option, both children and parents often noted that the meals could use an upgrade in terms of taste and overall quality. That said, Pizza Fridays have always been a hit and something the kids looked forward to each week! Overall, we’re so thankful for the foundation this daycare has given our child—emotionally, socially, and academically. We would definitely recommend it to other families!
