I love attending the service here. Great preaching and community.
Over the last 4 years, I’ve donated 4 weeks of my time (taking pto and unpaid time off from work), skilled nursing services and hard labor in service of worthy causes to this church and the communities it serves. Thus I was deeply saddened when, this last summer, I found myself hungry, somewhat lost, and seeking help— for this church, its members, and its pastors had none to provide. The address to a local food shelf was the extent of the help this community had for me. Matthew 25:42-46. I believe this community of believers has become rusty and lost its purpose; it has certainly lost me.
My family has been attending for the last four years and became members about a year ago. We love it here . My daughter runs in the door of their childcare program and looks forward to going to church. We are part of a multicultural small group and feel that cultural diversity is supported at this church. The messages in the sermons have been meaningful and have helped with situations I am going through. We have had an all around great experience.
The ministry of this church reaches around the world. From helping with hurricane Katrina years ago to orphanages in Ukraine, supporting missionaries here at home, and in many foreign countries, and local activities that enhance the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of this great metropolis. We got to visit occasionally over the last 40 years and never want to miss an opportunity to visit and be ministered to by this church.
Absolutely love being a part of this community - especially the worship team! I have found my “extended family” here - and I’m eternally grateful. I also appreciate the Vertical worship experiences where I can come face to face with God through music and worship in complete freedom.
