What Parents Say
After 3 After School Programs receives mixed reviews with six 5-star ratings praising staff responsiveness, attentiveness, and quality care, but three 1-star ratings citing serious safety concerns, policy enforcement issues, and fee complaints. Staff members like Ms. Maritza Gonzales, Ms. Sheryl, Ms. Glenda, and Ms. Ashlee were specifically commended for their exceptional care and communication.
It has been more than a month since we registered, and now you are canceling the class, saying that it does not fit your policy. If the registration did not meet your policy, it should not have been allowed in the first place, or at the very least, it should have been canceled immediately after registration. Instead, after the class has already started, you have unilaterally informed us that it is canceled. In the meantime, we have wasted over a month, and since the class has already begun, it is now extremely difficult to find an alternative.
I had an exceptional experience(s) with Ms. Maritza Gonzales. My wife recently returned to school and due to this fact, we needed to enroll our daughter in an after-school program. I submitted the application and followed up a few days later. Ms. Gonzales fielded my call, and my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. She gave me very clear instructions and held my metaphorical hand throughout the enrollment process. You should be proud to have this person on your team and hire 1000 more just like her. Thank you for the gloriuous experience.
Our children were enrolled in After3 while they attended Durham. After 3 was always responsive to our child's needs and attended to our parental concerns and questions. They end each semester with a fun program that includes each child. For example, at the end of the fall they do a closing winter themed performance. I recommend their care after school also because the children get the opportunity to interact with their school mates.
My family’s experience with After3 was awful. They neglected to protect and care for my son, a 1st grader, allowing the older kids to punch, kick, and push him to the ground on multiple occasions. They left him alone on the playground by himself for an unknown time and didn’t even realize he wasn’t with the group until a kind hearted stranger walking his dog heard my son’s cries for help and brought him inside the school. When I picked him up, they DID NOT EVEN MENTION what happened. I got a call from the school principal the next morning informing me of the incident. When I asked for an explanation and requested a new teacher they downplayed the incidents and showed no concern for him or the other students welfare and safety. I would not trust them to watch my dog. They should not be allowed to care for children due to their extreme negligence. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not trust them with your children.
My dtr has been with After3 for years and she’s loved it so much! Everyone has been so amazing and attentive! My dtr and I are really going to miss everyone! I’m so grateful that After3 came to our school and changed our lives for the better!
