My son has been going to this daycare since he was six weeks. He is now one year and change. I really liked his infant teachers (Ms. Jenae', Ms. Nikisha, Ms. Kiana) and the infant program. He is now in their one year old program and thriving. He eats a ton and I love it because they do a lot of scratch cooking. Overall, I'm pleased with what this daycare has to offer, but most importantly, my son is learning and interacting with others his own age, and always comes home with a smile. Unless he is teething, then that's another story. Anyway, I highly recommend this center!
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE ! Very unsanitary, classrooms are not cleaned daily. My child was sick almost every week. Hands , foot, mouth are very common in the infant area. Staff are not trained properly for medical emergencies nor is supervision monitored properly. Owner is very unprofessional and money hungry.
My son started here when he was 1 and my daughter just started in January as an infant. I cannot recommend this daycare enough. Every teacher that I have come in contact with as my son moves through his different age classes has been amazing. He is happy to be dropped off and runs up to hug his teachers in the morning. The infant teachers are great at communicating with us and sending pictures throughout the day. They let my kids visit with each other and treat them like family. I trust everyone at Adventure Academy with taking care of my children and I am so grateful to the whole staff!
I do not write reviews but if you’re a concerned parent like me, I figured this would be useful. My daughter has been going to adventure academy ever since she was 3 and today was her last day (she will be 5 in October). In the course of the last two and half years here, there have been dramatic changes with staff and the environment in general. Very very few workers have been there the entire time. The dynamic is multi cultural and they have great food for the kids. However, this place is ran mostly by young woman. Doing the best they can with the experience they have as mothers and the school has limited recourses. There have been several… and I mean at least 20 per year that I have had to keep my daughter home not just cuz of sickness outbreak but lack of supervision. Since the seasoned teacher is out, The four year old classroom is just out of control. I don’t know if it’s the kids or just lack of experience. But walking into complete chaos, isn’t something that prepares them for success for what’s to come to school. My daughter got bit on the back unprovoked on her last day… by a four year old… 🤦🏽♀️ If your kid is 4 … DO NOT COME TO THIS DAYCARE.
My child has been coming to this daycare for 2 years now and I love it! A big shoutout to Ms. Kenzie, Ms. Alandra, Ms. Toy, Ms. Jordan (Jo-Jo), the school cook, and Ms. Tiara at the front (really everyone). My son loves everyone and nothing makes a mom feel better than leaving a drop off feeling comfortable with the staff and teachers. The teachers are awesome and the building and classrooms are always so clean and organized. They take housekeeping very seriously and keep the germs away. They alert families very promptly and always respond fast. They also send lots of pictures throughout the day which I love. Charting is always kept up to date to let you know how your little one(s) are doing. I can't say enough nice things. Lisa and James are awesome and you can tell they really love what they do and take a lot of pride in the building and staff. Adventure Academy is awesome!
