Active Learning Centers Fogelsville

We are so happy with the care our daughter has received over at ALC Fogelsville. We moved to the area from out of state, and the administrators were so accommodating of us virtually touring the facility before locking in our daughter’s spot. They have been available, friendly, and helpful ever since. She started in the infant room at 8 months and really bonded with the teachers (Ms Amanda, Ms Maria and Ms Sandy) - they are all so kind and caring, with amazing memories and abilities to keep track of different schedules & preferences. They have truly felt like an extension of our family. Our daughter just moved up to the 1 year old room, and all of the teachers there are wonderful as well. The lead teacher, Ms Jenelle, provides creative and intentional learning opportunities, and we’ve noticed that our daughter has started responding excitedly to children’s songs at home that she clearly recognizes from music time at school. Highly recommend!

My girls have been part of the ALC family for a few years now across multiple locations, and I can confidently say that Ms. Paulette — has made the biggest impact on them. Paulette is there every morning with the warmest smile, greeting my girls by name and setting such a positive tone for their day. She safely transports them to school and always goes out of her way to make sure they feel loved, supported, and confident. As a parent, knowing your children are in the care of someone who treats them like her own means everything. She communicates with me about everything, big or small and you can tell it’s because she genuinely cares. Paulette takes the time to understand each child individually, and she’s been so willing to accommodate my girls’ needs and even work alongside their IEP/504 plans from school. That kind of dedication and compassion is rare to find. It’s clear that Paulette truly loves what she does, she creates an environment that feels safe, comfortable, and full of encouragement. My girls absolutely adore her, and I couldn’t ask for a better person to help guide them through their mornings and transitions. ALC is lucky to have such a gem on their team, and we’re so grateful for all that she does!

My two children were at ALC for several years and we're so well taken care of. They had an opportunity to begin karate lessons while at the day care and were also able to participate in many other activities from other organizations that provided their services during the day. Each classroom had a lesson structure and children were not ever sitting idle or just watching a screen to keep occupied. Ms. Paulette was wonderful as she worked with my son's classroom. She provided amazing care and took extra time to help the children with after school homework.

Miss Hailey and Ms. Sydney, though newer additions, have already proven themselves to be tremendous successes—caring, attentive, and enthusiastic in their roles. Ms. Carolina leads with grace and excellence, fostering a positive and structured environment for both children and staff. Ms. Paulette and Ms. Sandy exemplify what it means to truly love what you do, and their devotion to the children is evident in every interaction. The broader team—including Ms. Kylene, Ms. Anna, and Ms. Ty—demonstrates remarkable passion, kindness, and commitment to every family they serve. Forgive us if a name was missed; there are simply so many incredible individuals whose dedication makes Active Learning Center such a remarkable and loving place for children.
