Active Childcare

As parents searching for childcare after a difficult first experience, my husband and I were simply hoping to find a place where our son would be safe, genuinely cared for, and loved when we couldn’t be with him. We found all of that, and so much more, at Active. We’ve now been part of this daycare for about two and a half years, with three children (including a toddler and twin infants) enrolled and experience across five different classrooms. Without hesitation, I can say we have truly adored every team of incredible teachers who have cared for our kids. They don’t just look after them—they care for them as if they were their own, know them so well, and celebrate them for the unique little people they are. Because of this, our children have developed a true love of learning and a natural curiosity that has been amazing to watch as parents. Each week brings a new theme filled with creative, hands-on activities that thoughtfully accommodate different learning styles. The teachers foster an engaging and nurturing environment where kids are encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive. Communication has always been excellent, and I’ve consistently felt like a true partner with the teachers, all of whom clearly want what’s best for our children and our family. One of the other things that truly sets Active apart is its leadership. The director, Ms. Katie, and assistant director, Ms. Melissa, are both incredibly hands-on and know the children very well. They are present in the classrooms, approachable with families, and clearly invested in creating a nurturing, supportive environment for both kids and parents. As a naturally more anxious parent with pretty high expectations, it means everything to have found a place we trust completely. I would wholeheartedly recommend Active to any family looking for a safe, loving, and enriching childcare environment.

Active Childcare is truly amazing! My daughter has an absolute blast every single day, and I love how active and engaged they keep her. She comes home happy, tired in the best way, and always excited to go back. The teachers are wonderful—kind, patient, & genuinely invested in the kids. The admin team is just as caring and always easy to communicate with. I feel at ease leaving my child here because I know she’s safe, loved, and thriving. We’re so grateful for Active Childcare and highly recommend it to any family looking for a fun, active, and nurturing preschool!

We have been with Active Childcare for almost 2 years and only have wonderful things to say about the center! Every teacher my child has had or we have encountered is incredibly welcoming and kind. It is amazing that they know kids they havent even had in class. We know our kids are in the best of hands! Plus they have such great amenities with the indoor turf fields, inflatables, and play tower. Highly recommend :)

Our two kids have been attending this daycare for the past four years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers are truly wonderful—caring, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. Our kids absolutely love them. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized. One of our favorite features is the indoor playground, which has been amazing for both winter months and rainy days. The kids always come home excited, especially after Fun Fridays and all the engaging summer activities the center plans. From themed days to creative projects, there’s always something new to look forward to. We’re grateful for the safe, happy, and nurturing environment this daycare has provided for our kids. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a place where their children will learn, grow, and truly enjoy their day!

Our family can't say enough good things about Active Childcare. Our child has been attending AC for over a year and is thriving. The director Katie and her entire staff are passionate, hands on and have excellent communication. We transferred to Active Childcare from a different private daycare and it was the best decision we could have made. Every day our child is excited to go to "school" and adores his teachers. Walking down the hallways, you can feel the warm, safe learning environment. The facility is HUGE in size and they place an emphasis on movement, play and daily time outdoors. Each week we receive an education plan with what the focuses are. We are impressed by the carry over from classroom to our home. Our son is about to count to 10, sing his ABCs, and tell us about his day--and he's not even 2! AC provides such a caring, structured environment. We get updates constantly throughout the day of what our child eats, photos, videos etc. The teachers are always accessible and extremely responsive with their communication. They have been extremely kind and accommodating for our family, especially when it comes to scheduling. My child is my whole world. Who I trust him with is the most important decision and I chose and continue to choose Active Childcare.
