We’ve been going to center for over 10 years with our three children. My older daughter is in high school now but she loved coming there each day seeing all her friends and wonderful teachers. Our middle daughter started at 2 years old and absolutely loves westmont yard, always constantly talks about it and currently loves the summer camp program. Our youngest that’s a year and half that has been going to the center since he was 6 weeks old. The teachers are wonderful and I love the fact that they use Brightwheel app so while I am at work I can check on him very easily and know what they are doing during the day. Great communication overall from teachers to the director Josann. If you live in the area hands down this is the best center and my children have learned so much being at the center for early children development.
Our son started his daycare journey a little over a year ago in the 2’s room at Westmont Yard. We have absolutely loved all of the wonderful teachers and staff. When I say my son goes to daycare, I follow with “not a regular sit in the classroom daycare”. They have a wonderful curriculum for teaching that is enhanced by allowing the kids to move utilizing the indoor field, jumpers, climber, and outside playground during the warmer months. They also recently started a cooking class once a week and offer soccer/sports classes during the week for an additional fee. We can’t recommend Westmont Yard enough for childcare.
On our third kiddo (of 4) to be going through WY active Prekindergarten and we love it and could not recommend it enough to families. The safety, the friendly staff, the relationships built by the kids across multiple school borders, the times for working parents, the Bright wheel app… I could go on for days. Sign up. You and your children will not regret it! We have also participated in summer camps and they are by far superior to anything else out there in DuPage.
My children have been enrolled at Active Childcare at the Westmont Yard for the past seven years, starting in the infant room and now attending both daycare and after-school care. I could not recommend this facility more. The teachers consistently go above and beyond, caring for every child as if they were their own. The activities offered are truly exceptional—from an incredible play tower to cooking classes during the school day, the opportunities for learning and fun never end. Communication is outstanding as well; we always know what the kids are working on and what’s happening in their day. Active Childcare has been a wonderful place for our family, and we’re so grateful for the care and dedication they provide
My son has been going to this school since he was 1 years old he is now 3 years old and he has learned so much! Its so much more than a daycare. They aren't just watching your kids they are learning and developing very fast! My son’s vocabulary is so big because of the great teachers he has! I would recommend to anyone especially if you are a first time mom! They update you with everything on a day to day basis! 10/10!
