What Parents Say
Acorn Children's Academy receives mixed reviews. Most parents praise the caring and attentive staff, clean facilities, and positive impact on their children's development and emotional well-being. However, several recent reviews report concerns about staff attentiveness, hygiene practices, and management issues.
I want to obtain the new owner's contact information. To contact them about the business they run, like the staff, for example. It’s a daycare that is suppose to care for children. You have such lazy staff to the point they don’t clean up the kids after they eat or do a little art, come home in the fullest diaper possible, get incident reports every day because they don’t watch the kids, and every time I go in, THEY ARE JUST STARING AT THEIR PHONE. I miss the old owners; they actually trained their employees and had great staff. They actually cared about the kids and who was watching them. Get a grip, or shut the business down.
I love this place for my daughter, the workers are caring and they are absolutely the best especially miss.Esme she absolutely my favorite teacher there :). I love saybug being here. thank you guys ❤️
Using fake name to protect myself. There are a few workers that go above and beyond for the kids and parents, thank you to these few. But for the rest... They poorly take care of kids that need more attention. They treat them as if they are the worst children and seem to not want to care for these kids. The mangers kids get special treatment. There has been a couple of occasions were a stranger(male) has been casually hanging out in the office without being staff. The front receptionist in the afternoon treats people like they are a bother for greeting her, has bsolutely no manners or acknowledgement for people, and overall highschool attitude...
Acorn academy parks their vans in all the ADA parking of their building. There are no other ADA spots on the parking lot. This is a complete disregard of patients at nearby facilities, their own students families, and future students families. It’s also against the law. I am very disappointed in their choice to block these parking spots and ramp.
Have had no problem with them until my son was diagnosed as high functioning autistic who needs a little more help and guidance than other kids. Not to mention I used to work there so I know who all the "trouble" kids are and back in October the pre-k and all day kindergarten were supposed to go to a pumpkin patch and ironically around the time that they were boarding the car to leave all us parents with "trouble" kids got a call saying there was a lice outbreak and that they had to go home and couldn't come back without a doctor's note. If there was really a lice outbreak like they claimed why didn't they send every kid home to be safe? And how come the day after that the office and staff acted like nothing happened and that the kids were alright to come back. I didn't even need the doctor's note saying my kids didn't have lice
