I've lived here for about 7 months in one of the studio apartments and unfortunately I will not be continuing my stay. I have suffered 4 leaks in 2 months, but what's worse is that 3 of those were in a single week, the most recent of which was today. This is due to a crucial flaw in the buildings' design. All of the studios are on the first floor, and all of the plumbing for the apartments on the next two floors above them run right down into where the kitchen is. Any time there is a plumbing leak from an apartment on the second or third floor, it will flow directly down into the kitchen of the studio. I have had my stove covered in water from 3 of those leaks, two of which were from toilets and one was from a bathtub.The only way to avoid this is to avoid the studios, as all of the buildings have the same design. I was told as much by the building manager, though apparently the frequency of the leaks that I'm experiencing is uncommon, which means that there is most likely fundamental plumbing issues above my particular unit. Also, the buildings and appliances and pretty old, but the only things I've needed replaced during my stay were my kitchen faucet and A/C unit. Heating is electric and is expensive, so keep that in mind as well. Aside from that, I didn't hate living here. The rent was fair. The neighborhood is nice. It's within easy walking distance of downtown Greendale. The neighbors are quiet...for the most part. The walls are very thin so your mileage may vary. Smoking is allowed, but it never affected me, so if you live on the first floor then you probably won't be affected much. The property manager and maintenance guy are very nice and understanding, and I always feel like I'm being listened to. It's a shame that I had to get such bad luck. If the buildings were newer and better designed this place would be pretty great, but oh well.

Living here from past three years. Very peaceful. Never faced any issue. The property is very well maintained and the maintenance requests are always executed promptly. Whole maintenance team is very good at communicating and giving quick response. Property manager is very nice. Its my first appartment. College square will always be very special to me. And i had to put this review here i am very happy with their maintenance.

This is my first time ever living in an apartment and the experience has been very good! The staff is excellent, in my opinion. Any issue I have had has been taken care of very promptly. The walls are a little thin, I will say. However, it makes me feel safe knowing others are around. Very pet friendly! A great place to live.

My experience living here for three years has been phenomenal. You could not ask for a better team of Britney and Andy. They always go above and beyond for the residents. Andy,the maintenance person, is a very caring and thoughtful person. Very respectful and honest. 10/10 best Apartment complex!

I see the most recent review was 2 years ago so here goes… I currently live here and for the price I pay $968 rent and water included I DO NOT RECOMMEND. For this price you can find yourself in a upper unit apartment that is smoldering hot during the summer, unless you happen to live in the lower level studio. The air/heat are not central so you have one AC unit in the living room, no ceiling fans in bedrooms and heaters at the baseboard level. There are ZERO ammenities. No dishwasher, w/d hookups, playground, pool just really nothing at all. You will pay $1.25 per wash and per dry in mediocre washer dryers which are also very old. The neighborhood is quiet but all floors and or ceilings are paper thin and can hear neighbors sneezing easily. Sound doesn’t travel between walls so that’s good I guess but the rest isn’t worth it for the price. Old, and barely hanging in there the rent should not be this high and it does increase every single year. While the staff does do their best to pay attention to concerns this property needs an overhaul and updates. It’s lacking to say the least. I hope to give my 60 days notice asap even if that means paying an early termination fee. Also when I renewed my lease apparently it was for 14 months? I never would have entered that agreement and thought I was renewing for 12 months which is what I had originally signed. The only reason I renewed was because I was pregnant and could not physically deal with a move.
