Academy House CDC 3 isn’t the worst, but it’s definitely not great either. I personally witnessed a teacher physically mistreating children — grabbing them by the arm and forcing them to sit down aggressively. The positive part is that the daycare did take action right away, and I believe that teacher was fired. However, I didn’t stay long enough to confirm because there were too many ongoing issues with communication and the camera system. The center is mainly Spanish-speaking, and the only English-speaking staff member seemed completely uninterested in the children’s well-being. I do appreciate that they seemed willing to put the children first in that situation, but they seriously need to improve communication and hire more bilingual staff who actually engage and care.

Academy house 3 is a terrible school, I Do not recommend this school, it does not have professional staff. Director told me I have to arrive in 15 minutes, I could never arrive in 15 minutes because I do not work in front of the school, if I have an accident I am the one I have to pay the costs and the response of your Director was that if I did not like that, take your child another daycare center and do not bring him here not more, which was totally disrespectful, and I do not think you have a professional staff. YOU never tried to call me or meet me to ask what was happening, only you hear what the director says but not always she says the true, maybe You have to hear other person opinion, and my opinion is that there is not professional team in that daycare. I have always picked up my son. Yes, I worry about the health of my son, I have never said I can not pick him, You can not say there is a day I did not pick up my son, whenever you have called I have always picked up. You will always have happy people at your business and others not happy and my experience with you was very bad, perhaps other people have good experience but it is not my case. I have the right to rate your business and I did it according to my experience. Your employees do not have prosefionality, that is my opinion and my experience. I'm sorry if you don't like my rate but it's my score to your business.
I am a parent of a child in the Plainfield location. I just wanted to express myself on a few observations. I am very happy with the staff, from the Director Susana, assistant Mallory, to one of the longest care givers there like Nancy. My child has learned so much it is surprising in comparison to others of my family relatives both slightly older or younger. I truly believe the staff do their best as if the children were there own. Now on some other issues I have seen which I believe should be brought to your attention, are issues like the front door entrance. It continues to jam. Secondly, the option to not being able to pay with Visa has become an inconvenient issue. With today's technology, it should not be going backwards. Finally would be the availability of the webcams. Being a new parent and seeing the horrible things in this world, the free webcam service that was available made me make the decision to choose this daycare and brought a comfort to be able to see my child at any given time. So you can see why in an increasingly expensive society we are in, it became a saddening moment to see that option removed unless for an additional fee. I sincerely hope you have been able to see all the positive things the staff bring to this daycare and are appreciated and recongized appropriately as they make it a pleasent and happy environment for both children and parents. Which the service is exceptional and the main reason a business that lives on the well being of our most prized possessions should observe carefully and recognize and/or reprimand. I hope that the other issues I've raised do not fall on deaf ears. I thank you for your time and continue to strive to make this daycare the best and set the tone for other daycares to aspire to be like this one.
Thank you for taking care of Braydin, it was hard to make the decision to change him from daycare after what happened. What can I say about Academy house 3 good center very clean my son was attending to this daycare since he was 3month old he is 2yr now teachers are so lovely director and assistance so nice.
