Academy At King'S Way

Academy at King's Way = Peace of Mind. I have been known to be an over protective parent. My daughter attending VPK this year was the first time we spent apart. It was hard for us at first but Ms. Kathy and her staff were so loving and understanding. I know my daughters teachers Ms. Alex, Ms. Denise and Ms. Kathy really love and care about her and her classmates. I am thankful that I know my daughter is in a safe place, where she is cared for and is learning so much. I am very impressed with the curriculum and the quarterly test. Its so encouraging to see the improvement in her academics from when she first started attending. Most of all I am extremely impressed with how they handle all situations such as behavioral problems and how they help and console families when they are in difficult times. I am thankful for them being a part of helping my daughter develop her spiritual foundation with the LORD .The Academy at Kings Way is not just my daughter school its become like a family to us. I love this Place and their Directors/Teachers. My Daughter went there since she was 2 yrs old. Now she is in Kindergarten and she is doing awesome thanks to the great preparation she got at Academy at King's way. Nice atmosphere, safe and with great moral and religious values. Thank you all! Terrible VPK dismissal procedures. Unprofessional and prejudice staff. Failure to follow policies. Personal vendetta against children with different backgrounds. As a Christian Academy, I was disappointed of how rude and unstable some of the staff were. My son VPK teacher was awesome and patient, but the director always seemed like she was angry towards me and my son. Also, my son was written up for the most ridiculous behavioral issues. Instead of using proper directive actions, they’d write him up instead when other kids who would do the same would be considered normal. When asked why not used proper directive actions or call the parent, I was told that they didn’t have enough staff for that. Because I refused to sign an incident report that I felt was inappropriate, the director angrily dismissed my son and then tried to blame me as an unstable parent who failed to work with the school. The school is filthy dirty, there we’re no Christian principles applied in the curriculum and some of the office staff clearly need conflict management and professional communication training. I won’t say don’t take your kid (s) there but my experience certainly wasn’t pleasant. If they feel like the way they dismissed my son was appropriate, God will deal with them. Taking a nap is not a requirement for children and all children deserve to be loved and accepted regardless of the challenges. The director does not have her life together, so it's disgusting that she expects a 5 year old to understand and know everything. Praying for them...

Best place ever !!!! One of my children attended PreK there and I was so comfortable , I became a preschool teacher , enrolled my 10 month old and made the greatest friends. Ms Andrea and Ms Chris - thanks for running the place the way you do!!! We can't wait to come visit the school AND the church 💕💕💕💕💕💕

Very nice place. Never once worried about my son. His teacher Sierra was wonderful and caring.
