Very unprofessional. On two separate occasions i've been completely blown off by this center. I've been given tours, given paperwork (that was filled out and turned over) with the reassurance that I would receive a call back to talk about availability , and if not, I should give them a call in a few days. After a week went by, I placed a phone call (as instructed) to check status. My name and number were taken down and I was told that I would be given a call back by Amy - the director - I have NOT received any phone calls back, no email communication, NOTHING. I called a few more times every other day (nothing bombarding, this is also time sensitive) just to see if I could get in contact with the director, who everytime I called was surprisingly busy or not there at the moment. Even if they were to have explained that they did not have the room i would totally have understood. But to be completely ghosted and ignored is not professional and now that I was on the receiving end of that type of treatment, this place is NOT a good fit to have my child. If they can't effectively communicate in that instance, that makes me concerned that other matters may have been brushed aside and not taken seriously.
I currently have a four year old and a four month old at Academic Adventures since March 2019. Owner Amy is hands-on and completely involved in planning of curriculum and summer camp. Both girls have transitioned seamlessly into the school. The teachers are top notch and very low turnover. We are warmly welcomed every morning and they always help with hand-offs making them less stressful for all of us. I also love that they have private buses for field trips and transportation to both Grayson and Cooley Elementary schools which make one-stop drop off/pick up, before/after school care, as well as, holiday and breaks. Lastly, the tuition is very reasonable considering the hours of operation and meals included. Great job to Amy and her team for making our transition to Academic Adventures easy and fun for our children.
This is the 2nd daycare that we've used for our 8 month old and we could not be happier. The staff and owner are warm, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them!
We love it here. Our child is in infants and has quite a bit of stranger danger normally but she loves all the teachers here and starts her day with a big smile! Love the little crafts that they work on and send home as well.
I recently just pulled my two year old from academic adventures because of a schedule change with school and now the location is just not convenient for us anymore but i figured the least i could do is leave this facility a rave review for taking such good care of my son. I have had nothing but terrible experiences with daycares in the past and was hesitant to even put my son in daycare again after the things that have happened at previous facilities. Academic adventures took care of my son like he was their own! The owner and miss laura and so accommodating and professional. The teachers in the 2 year old classroom are phenomenal!!! They love these kids so much and build a relationahip with each and every one! Another huge plus about this place is that it is always clean and smells good!!! Believe it or not, that seems to be hard to find at other places. Thank you so much avademic adventures for taking such good care of my son!!
