What Parents Say
ABC Learning Station receives highly polarized reviews. Most parents praise the caring staff, communication through daily updates, smooth transitions, and child development. However, several parents report serious concerns about management, staff professionalism, safety protocols, age-inappropriate staffing, and rejection of children with special needs.
This place is horrible. They refuse service to children that have separation anxiety from their parents and having difficulty communicating. Not ABC Learning accurate, do not bring your non verbal children there or those that need a little extra love, they will send them home and refuse them further care. Heavens forbid your kid cries too much. Moms and dads beware.
I was terrified of dropping my 3 month old baby boy off at a daycare because that was not a part of my plan, but things change. However, each day got much easier. ABC sends sweet pictures and updates through an app in real time all day long, so I never had to worry about how he was doing! Everyone there was so kind and treated him so well, and I could see that because he was smiling just like at home in every picture they sent me. Shout-out to Ms Melissa and Ms Sarah, who were my son's teachers and not only touched his heart, but mine as well. 10/10 recommend ABC if you are looking into a daycare center for your child!
This review is way past its due. So happy we picked ABC over others. The transition from home was seamless, from part time to full time - seamless, potty training - great collaboration with all the staff. My son is safe and happy and I have peace in mind knowing he is well taken care of. I can't count how many times he was refusing to leave!
Having my girls at ABC has helped me gain a more intimate relationship with not only the director but all the teachers as well. I believe building a relationship with the parents is so important. My girls come home every day so excited to talk about their day and they're excited to wake up and go to class. Every single employee here has done above and beyond for me and my girls and I'm sure they do for everyone else. Thank you so much!
Not knowing how to make this anonymous, I made a fake profile to protect my identity. My experience at ABC Learning Station has been less than par to say the least. The owner seems to be uneducated in how to run a business. It does not seem to me that she cares much about children and their education and well being at all. I rarely had one- on- one time with my child's teacher to ask about how their day went, the owner would answer my questions about how they did during meal and nap times instead of the teacher. I know she did not spend all day with my child and it seemed like she was just telling me what to hear and then rushing me out the door again. She seems to be very unprofessional, and in my opinion should not be operating a business that has so much impact on a child's future. Talking to other parents that I became friends with through the center have shared their dislike of the daycare. One friend's child was continuously getting hurt and the parent was not notified upon pickup. When they called no one could tell them what happened. It seems to just be glorified babysitting rather than having an actual curriculum based program. As soon as the weather begins to be in the 40's the children are pushed outside and forced to stay out there all afternoon. The owner's children work there, which wouldn't be an issue if her daughter wasn't 14 years old and put in charge of the entire infant classroom by herself. They are understaffed to say the least.
