ABC Kids Academy has been such a blessing for our family. My daughter attended here before moving on to Head Start, and because of the wonderful experience she had, choosing this daycare again for my son was an easy decision. He started at ABC Kids Academy when he was just 4 months old and is now 1 year and 8 months and the care he receives has been exceptional from the very beginning. My baby started at ABC Kids Academy as an infant, and the care was truly exceptional. I had to move a few months ago because my work schedule no longer aligned with the daycare hours, and after experiencing other programs, I now realize even more how much ABC Kids gave my little one. I have been with this daycare for 8 years! Just love everything about this facility. The teachers love your kids like their own. Wouldn’t want my children anywhere else
No stars this place is an absolute joke! Very unorganized spoke with the staff a week ago, and asked them if they had an opening for my nephew who is five I was told Yes! Took the application back in on Friday. The staff told me that the Director would look at the paperwork and let me know the status or if I missed anything on Monday at least to say I did not hear anything from the Director. I waited until the afternoon to call and then was told that the Director has not looked at my nephews application it was just sitting on her desk. Oh also was told that he can only start on Mondays not in the middle of the week which is fine, so that’s why I put the application in Friday and hopefully he could be able to start this new daycare on 22 July also told her to direct them to call me I never received any calls from here. I had to call several times to ask if she looked at the application yet and was told no, it’s still sitting at her desk so I decided to call her again later in the evening the directions told me oh we are having a audit and because of the audit I don’t have time to look at any new applications I drop that application off Friday so it would take her four days to look at it which she said she can only review it on Wednesday. I’ve never heard of a company that still does not do business because they have an audit I’ve had audits done at a location that I work with, we continue to work to help people even lower. The audit was going on. We do not stop and let people wait for four days because we have an audit. Because I wanted to start him on the 22nd. If I missed anything I wouldn’t be able to start on the starting date that I need it for work. Then the Director calls me today on Tuesday to tell me oh I did not look through the paperwork. I looked at some of it, and we are not going to have staff to provide for him because he turns six in August. I made up my mind the day before that this will not be a good place for him, because they are not organized and talking to her the day before. She definitely was encouraging me not to bring my nephew there especially when she said oh, you can look at other day cares to see if one is available that was a sign for me to know that this was not the right please anytime someone tries to discourage you from bringing in your child to their daycare. I would not recommend this place to anyone you get the running around, unorganized, professionalism is 0 to none. I also look at all the other reviews, and it definitely tells you what kind of place you will put your child in. so it’s more blessing that she was discouraging me to put my nephew in that daycare, ABC kids academy in Newark Delaware near Elkton Maryland. I’m going to let him stay where he is if it’s not broken, then why fix it but this place is “Absolutely Unprofessional” like the other young lady said I would not give it any stars, but I had to put in something they do not deserve one.
