This childcare/preschool is great. The price is very reasonable. The staff is very nice, and they really get to know the children. My daughter loves all the teachers there. There are cameras in every room so you can always check in on your child during the day. I noticed that there are some bad reviews, but I should mention that the ABC is under new ownership and she has been great. She has purchased new playground equipment, new toys, and she has made updates to all the rooms.

Please keep in mind that this review was based on an experience of almost 2 years ago. Do not send your child to this daycare! If you don't want to read what I everything I wrote, then read this: The day we removed our son from this daycare, there were only 4 babies still enrolled. Two weeks before we left, they had a full room of 8. At first it was great. My son was an infant and he had two great morning and afternoon babysitters. Then there was a new owner (Angela) and the babysitters soon left. The new ones often complained about my son being fussy, spitting up, wanting to be held, and would only sleep in his baby bouncy and not in the crib. Just to give you an idea about my son, he might spit up more often then other babies, but he was a baby at the time.....that's what they do! My son is rarely fussy and usually still keeps his upbeat attitude when he is sick. It also seemed we got called for everything and they usually wanted us to pick him up. My wife was told one day that our son had Smegma and when she got home, it turned out all my son had was diaper lint on him. After about 2-3 months of the daycare complaining about their issues with my son, my wife and I decided it was time to take him elsewhere. My son is currently enrolled at Little Hands Work and Play in Council Bluffs and he loves it. Doesn't fuss when we drop him off, usually in a good mood and the staff take great care of him. I highly recommend them. One more thing, their billing and notification is horrible. They raised their rates without notification (except for their billboard which is conveniently across the daycare where people who only have babies can't see it). Nobody told my wife and I, neither did they send anything home for the parents. After a couple of months the director notified us we were behind and demanded payment. I have no problem paying my bills and to wait two months and demand instant payment is ridiculous. That is not how you do business.

My child has been going to ABC for a few months now and I absolutely love it there. She started going when she was about 9 months old and it was the first time she was ever away from us (her parents) and in the care of someone else, so of course we were very skeptical at first because she had what we called "stranger danger" and did not like to be around/with people she did not know. ABC made my experience with bringing her to daycare for the first time so welcoming. They really helped put my mind at ease and made me feel very comfortable. I was one of those parents who called constantly and asked a million questions and never once did they seemed bothered or annoyed by me. I love the bright and vibrant colors they have everywhere. From what I've seen they are very clean and sanitary. The director (Jessica), my child's teachers (Krystal and Amanda), and all of their other staff are extremely nice and friendly. Everyday when I walk in they say "good morning" and before I leave they tell me to "have a good day at work." I couldn't ask for a better environment to walk in to every morning. They also have video monitoring where you can see throughout the day (real time) what they are doing and I've never seen anything that is concerning. In regards to other comments about people saying when they've called children are "screaming/crying" in the background, all I have to say to that is that it's a daycare OF COURSE there are going to be screaming and crying children from time to time. It's something I would almost expect to hear walking into or calling a daycare. Also, the previous comments about the director, Jessica, are absolutely absurd!! Any time I've ever dealt with her she's been nothing but kind, courteous, respectable, and very professional (and I'm not just saying this because we are "friends," I've never met her before taking my child to ABC, I was just another parent). I've done my research on this daycare and on the Nebraska Health and Human Services website you can find reports of Negative and Disciplinary Actions Against Childcare Providers and ABC Childcare is not on a single one of them. To top all of that off, this daycare is EXTREMELY affordable. Being a young mother of two I found that they are the least expensive daycare centers around, which at first had me question if I should take my little one there because they say "you get what you pay for" but in this case you get extremely amazing care at a low/affordable cost! I would highly recommend this daycare to all my friends and family.

When I dropped my son off in morning most days depending on who was working the day didn’t greet my son to make him feel welcomed just sat there on there cellphones even when I’d pick him up most days the girls would just be sitting on there phones and they kept saying they were getting them to go potty never got a potty chart but once and everytime I picked him up from there he was in a soaked pull up. Don’t recommend this daycare .

My son is under 2, he went there from Feb 2023 to May 2023. During that time he was bitten 6 times, the last time he was bit was also his last day there. When picking him up, he pulled a 3 inch long string of plastic that he was chewing on, out of his mouth. When I asked the teacher about it, holding it up, I was told in a jovial manner, "Oh we must have missed the trash can." The promise was made for daily status sheets, we got 2 or 3 a week. The Director has no power to discipline a biting child, even if they are a repeat biter of multiple children. There is an overall lack of attention and care. I cannot recommend this daycare at all, and would actively discourage anyone from going there.
