Abacus Montessori Academy

We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our son at Abacus. As we approach his one-year anniversary here, the developmental growth we've witnessed is nothing short of astounding. The Montessori approach fostered by the dedicated and loving staff has truly allowed our son to blossom. His language skills have soared, and we see the practical life skills he learns daily translating directly to a more confident and capable little person at home. Watching him run through the doors each morning and greet his teachers with giants hugs everyday is a testament to the loving environment Miss Lucy provides.

I was so nervous about sending my son to daycare, but the moment I toured this place, I had a really good feeling. My son has been attending for about two months now, and he’s doing amazingly! I was especially worried because he has additional needs and receives services, but the staff has been incredibly supportive. Miss Samantha and Miss Lucy are truly AMAZING! I receive daily pictures and updates, and my son is always smiling. Every morning, he happily runs in, which means the world to me.

We have had our child at Abacus for a couple of years and we couldn't be more pleased! The teachers are amazing. They genuinely care about the social, cognitive and emotional development of the children and effectively draw upon the Montessori philosophies to facilitate growth. There is a strong send of community at Abacus and it's wonderful to watch the children (and their families) grow together during this critical period of development. The administration is great. They are very responsive, proactive and always open to feedback, suggestions or concerns (not that we've really had any). My 4 year old says, "I can't wait to go to school. I LOVE it!" Highly recommend if you are looking for a very special place to provide the best possible early education for your child.

Great Teachers!!! My daughter loves her school. My daughter had been enrolled in a traditional preschool and I could see she wanted more than just play, so we looked into Montessori as we were not familiar with the practice. Well let me tell you we were sold when we met the teachers and staff. The learning we see our child doing in just two months is wonderful. She is happy to go to school and the communication is awesome we know what is going on in the school and feel a part of a community.

We loved being a part of this school. The teachers are all engaged, loving, and helpful incorporating what the kids are learning into your at home routine. I found the Montessori model they practice to be helpful in teaching the kids independence and self play. The toddler teacher, Miss Sarah, is amazing. She helped us potty train our son in no time. This is a wonderful environment and I would highly recommend this school to any parent.
