Our experience with World of Friends started off positive but quickly went downhill. My child was fortunate to have a compassionate and patient teacher early on, who truly supported him. After that teacher left, everything changed. The new leadership and staff did not show the same level of care or understanding for children with special needs. For someone who holds a special education degree, the way the director handled certain situations was appalling and extremely disappointing. It was also highly unprofessional to hear that the director spoke negatively about my child to outside professionals when I was not present. While I’m grateful for the time my child had with the supportive teacher, overall, I would not recommend World of Friends to families
My son attends there. I think the whole staff is rude and they need to make some adjustments..Just because s child has a disability doesn't mean he should get constantly yelled at and treated differently. And someone is communicating with my son's teachers and telling them lies. Perhaps I should call an attorney.
Good curriculum. Horrible finance manager. Owner charges you $40 for ten minutes late pick up. $80 for twenty minutes late pickup. (As of today 4/23/19 we agreed that maybe only charging a dollar per minute of lateness is more reasonable). The field trips and hand on experiences are however...priceless. Mrs. Jennifer (owner) is easy to talk with and negotiate if you pull her discreetly to the side. 3 out of 5 stars 👍🏾
For a FREE Pre-K program Ms. Jennifer definitely find away to tax you!!! I text Ms. Jennifer to let her know there was an accident on highway backing traffic up i would be a fe minutes late her reply was make sure you bring late fee smh i was 5min late and didnt have $40 so i told her assistant ill bring it next class, Ms. Jennifer said because she had to wait its now $80!!!! Like really Ms. I feel as thought she is just in it for the money she finds any way possible to tax you then wont let your child come back to school unless she gets paid i wouldnt recommend anyone take there child there!!!!!
I highly recommend A World of Friends! The center displays an inviting atmosphere. Their staff are friendly and caring and it is a place of learning, creativity, and growth.
