I have had my son here since he was 6 weeks old and would never take him anywhere else. My son is now a few months shy of 2 years old and we recently moved. There is a daycare directly across from where we live and I work but I couldn't imagine pulling my son from here! They take care of my son just like I would and truly love my baby boy. I was extremely cautious when looking for daycare and this was our final decision. There really was no decision to make when I walked in and witnessed how they interacted with other children not knowing I was in another room observing. My son is very advanced in his social skills and has learned sign language to communicate before he could speak as well as now that he is speaking he can say Spanish words (we are an English speaking household)! I cannot stress enough how great this center is, it's like a second home for my son and I am so thankful I found this place; it's not shiny and brand new but there is a reason this place has been open for so long with such a great reputation!

Nothing but good things to say about A World of Discoveries--our toddler has been there for the past eight months and jumps out of my arms every morning because he loves to be there! They do crafts and play and sing and even the little ones spend time learning about things, like colors. The owner and staff care so much about the kids and have always worked with me on any needs we have. Would highly, highly recommend!

I overheard a teacher yelling at the children in the 2yr and under room when I picked up my child. this teacher was yelling at a little boy saying "stop screaming". I know it can be a frustrating job, but that is unacceptable. The same girl told me that my child "didn't like her" hmm I wonder why. And that employee is one of the longest employed there. Many staff members are high school students, which means short tempers. Owner seems more interested in protecting her staff than the children in their care. Terry, the highest level manager at this facility, always seems to be overwhelmed with duties due to a lack of staffing, teachers are constantly being moved from room to room to cover staff shortages, which gives the children very little consistency for their care. I was told when enrolling my child that most people only pay $5 a week with a government co-pay, which was the only appealing detail. Anytime I show up with cash in hand to pay our bill, I am pushed to the side and made to wait at least 10 minutes, and they have a paper-only tracking system for their accounts, which does not work out well, I have experienced first-hand. I have been called to remove my child multiple times due to "fever" but the moment I get my child home her "fever" magically disappears. My child has come home with injuries nobody can explain, and most recently suffered a contusion on their face. After my experience trying to work with these people, I can only suggest using this daycare if it is your only option. Your child will survive, but may suffer neglect and emotional abuse along the way. Edit: After the staff read my review I got a nasty call from first Terri then the owner. They asked me when I would be bringing my child back to their care.... HA! Terri THREATENED me by saying she would see me in court. Lol ok, try me, Terri. The women who run this daycare prey on poor/underpriveledged families who can't afford a down payment to get on a waiting list for a daycare that would give proper care to their children. The women who run this daycare milk the government subsidies for bringing your kids here, while they send your child home for imaginary illnesses so they can have fewer children to look after that day. My husband came close to losing his job because he had to leave work so often because of "fevers" that would disappear the moment we got home when we took our daughter here, and she ALWAYS had a diaper rash cuz the "teacher" didnt use the powder or cream that we had brought in for them. My child hasn't been sick or had any mysterious bruises since we left this place. Quitting my job so I could take care of my child myself was easily the best choice for my child's well being I have ever made. Also, the interview process for this daycare involves spending a day with your children. That's right, no background check needed to get alone in a room with your child. Let that one sink in.

Daughter has been here for over a year and she loves it. The owner listens to any concerns or issues I've had and does her best to resolve them.

My kids went here in 2019 and then this year starting in May or June I believe. I’ve never had a problem here, staff and owner have always been nice & helpful.
