A Step Ahead Childcare

We have had an amazing experience with this daycare. All three of my boys have attended, and I truly couldn’t ask for a better place for them. My oldest is now 8 years old and started school early. Every teacher he has had comments on how well he is doing academically and how kind and supportive he is with his friends. I truly believe the strong foundation he received here played a huge role in that. My second son started at 1 year old and stayed until he was 4, when he transitioned to the Head Start program for speech and OT. Ms. Becki and Ms. Taylor were incredible advocates for both my son and me. They recognized his needs early, supported us every step of the way, and helped make sure he received the help he needed to succeed. My third child is currently attending, and I feel completely at ease knowing he is in such a loving and supportive environment. Out of the four teachers, three have been there since my firstborn, which speaks volumes about the consistency and care this daycare provides. My kids truly love the teachers even my older boys still stop in just to talk to the teachers and Ms. Becky, which says everything about the lasting relationships they build here. I highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a place that genuinely cares about your children and treats them like family.

My son has been going here since he was 2 months old. He recently turned 3! We absolutely love them. Every teacher there genuinely cares about the kids and they do a lot of great activities with them! The teachers are committed to the growth of each child-I think the reason my son is so social and speaks so well has to do with the interactions he gets at A Step Ahead. He is excited to go to “school” every morning and talks about his friends and teachers every afternoon. It has been amazing to see all the things they do for the kids- they plan different holiday pictures and parties, they celebrate birthdays and make the kids feel special. But they also do so much more- the keepsakes they create with the kids are items I cherish but they go beyond crafts to genuine developmental milestones like potty training and letter recognition. As a teacher, I value all the efforts they put into getting him ready to enter the school system fully prepared for everything that comes with it A Step Ahead Childcare is my first recommendation when I hear anyone looking into childcare- they have made a lasting impact on my son and am grateful for all that they do.

We’ve been with A Step Ahead for three years and currently have two toddlers enrolled. The teachers are truly exceptional - caring, attentive, and committed to our boys’ growth. The boys have formed a good relationship with their teachers and are excited to run into class each morning. It has been amazing to watch them mature with the developmental support the center provides. Our three year old is now mostly potty trained thanks to the teachers’ consistent efforts, and our 19 month old has worked through a challenging behavior phase with their patience and partnership between school and home. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend A Step Ahead Childcare to any family looking for a nurturing, structured, and supportive environment. We are incredibly grateful for the impact they’ve had on our children.

Please note, due to the nature of fostering, I am not leaving this review on my personal profile. My children are actively enrolled here and have been for several months. We love everything about this place. We are foster parents and Becky and the staff have been nothing less than champions for our babies. We visited several places before choosing A Step Ahead and it was a clear choice for us. Our first thought was how clean and cheerful the building was. Immediately, we could see that there was an intentional structure that left no questions about what we should expect and what was expected of us. We can see that the safety and well being is the absolute top priority in everything that happens here. With that said, it is the genuine love and care that is so evident and made our choice easy. Our kids love their teachers and light up upon seeing them in the morning. We get a full report each day on the day they had and clear written instructions if there is anything needed. One of my favorite things about A Step Ahead is the obvious and genuine adoration they have for my kids. They don't just inform us of issues they are helping us address but also are the first to celebrate every accomplishment. My heart is so full when one of their teachers excitedly tells me about a new word or action they did that day. Being foster kids, Becky and all the staff have been not just understanding but supportive of any developmental issues and the situation as a whole. They have supported us in every way to ensure our kids are given every advantage and every need is met. It is a blessing to know that our children are not just safe but loved and stimulated when here. I will recommend A Step Ahead to anyone with kids needing child care.

We love this childcare & learning center! Both my sons love their teachers and are excited to see their friends each day! I love that they do arts & crafts and have a them each week where they incorporate numbers & letters. I feel incredibly safe & comfortable entrusting my children to them while I work!
