My son has been attending The Star Is Rising for 2 years now. We love everyone there. Since he was 6 months old, each teacher has taken the time to ensure his development and happiness. They do a wonderful job communicating monthly, weekly and daily activities. They foster community support and strive parent participation through group activities such as field trips, classroom projects and parent/teacher nights. I know my son is in great hands and thankful for their support and active involvement in his life!
My daughter is almost 2 and has been attending A Star Is Rising for the last year and a half. The environment is warm, friendly, and loving. All the teachers are caring and have taught my daughter a lot. I can't imagine my daughter anywhere else!
Do not trust your children to go here! State regulations are not followed. You have NO idea what is going on with your kids while they are here. Kids get hurt and they not only don’t tell you and don’t write up an incident report, but they have no idea how they got hurt themselves. Picked up my one year-old one day with a huge gash under her eye and scratches on her face, not only was I not called and notified as state regulations mandate that anything from shoulders up needs to be reported immediately to the parent, as well as an incident report written, but then when I picked her up Not one single staff member could tell me what happened. Child to teacher ratio is never adhere to, there are often way more children than teachers. Bring your kids somewhere else. Don’t let their cheap tuition trick you into thinking that they are a good school too
Love the staff at A Star is Rising. The care and education they provided was amazing. I hav no doubt that my son ready for kindergarten because of their curriculum. He learned so much while still having fun and he loved going everyday!
My child has been going here since 6 months, she is now currently in the preschool class. I can honestly say the thought of her leaving this daycare/ school soon breaks my heart !!! This is an amazing place for our children. Every single teacher treats our children like family. Everyday there is a teacher or the owner Ms Millie at the door. My child has grown socially , emotionally and is extremely book smart and I owe it to A star is rising Bergenfield. There is nothing in this world I can do to show you all the big enough gratitude you Ms Millie and your wonderful teachers deserve. You guys Rock !!!!! and the world needs to know . Thank you from the bottom of my heart I truly thank you all for a wonderful job with my now big kid. Ps : If I have a second child ! you all now know where I will be going !
