A Special Place For Kids

I wish I could give this office a 0 if I’m being honest. I’ve been admitted here at 15 in 2022 and I’ve seen no difference in my well-being. These therapists are either really bad or mediocre at best. Each time I change a therapist it takes 6-8 months to get a new one. I understand that they get understaff sometimes but waiting 8 months is absurd. And soon as I get a new therapist they either just nod and repeat what you say and add no help to your current situation. The nurse practitioner appointments are also not the best. Tell me why I have to wait 4-5 months to see one after trying to make an appointment with them to change my medication or have a visit every month? This place DOES NOT know what they are doing and is ran very poorly. It’s like they hire people off the streets who are NOT experienced in mental health. And I did however try transferring or canceling therapy and they tried to force me to go when I don’t have court mandatory therapy so they had no reason to let me stay in this crappy institution. They either told me to wait till 18 but what am I going to be doing till then? Going to appointments that aren’t clearly working? This place is absurd you might as well be taking your children at another mental health clinic because this is not it. I’m 18 now and I’m glad I FINALLY got discharged because there’s no excuse to be this bad of a clinic
