My two girls were at A Place to Grow for about 3 years, basically the entire time my family was stationed in El Paso. My daughter started attending when I went back to work after maternity leave, around 8 weeks old to three years old. My currently 8 year old was 5 years old. We loved the staff and I’m so glad we had the experience we did. No big issues came up. The teachers are all sweet and treated my kids well. I have a difficult time leaving my kids with anyone but I had a great experience with A Place to Grow ❤️
We lived in El Paso for about 3 years and both my children attended A Place to Grow for the whole duration of our stay. We were very happy with their care. The teachers all care deeply about the children in their care. Both my kids came home with so many crafts and they both loved going to daycare. I always felt like it was a very safe environment for our children. We are very sad to leave and hope that we can find another childcare center like A Place to Grow where we are moving next.
I do not recommend this daycare at all, with the respect that each of the people who work there deserve but the truth leaves much to be desired, my baby we had there from 4 months and at first if everything was fine, the girl was happy, we left her and she was happy until one day things changed, the baby came to a moment when every day she came to the house crying, very foolish for everything and the truth if it became very strange, I never knew because but apart from that. What if I was very annoyed by them was that the baby could not get dirty to the daycare and they always made me change it before entering when I explained that the baby was made on the way from the house to the daycare I could not believe that they were so mean to make me change it outside before entering with the cold so strong, in short something else that made us change our daughter from that nursery is that it was absolutely not reliable, always for anything else. They closed the daycare early when there are parents like us who work all day thinking that our daughter is well taken care of but we always had to waste hours of our work to leave early and go for my daughter because the nursery closes early, absolutely unreliable if you need to take care of your children all day as in my case, that always hates it, something else and very important, that my daughter got sick every time, she always got sick and it was because There the temperature was very cold, she got sick very often and she was always pink because they did not change her, that made me very angry and I always demanded the people who took care of my baby and the director too and they always said the opposite but it is rare because coincidentally where my daughter is now she has never been pink or sick thank God, so I thank you for having found a better one, much better daycare than here, seriously I feel sorry for them who work there. But what we want as parents is the best thing for our children and Place to Grow is not.
If you need a reliable daycare, this is not it, they close early very often, just because they want to, they open late just because. Also my baby had a rash very often, they dont change diapers, so be careful. Look for other options as we did. Also, the teachers there seem to be in a bad mood all the time.
My son has been attending A Place to Grow on Tierra Este since July 2022. He is in the one year old class and we are a military family. We live in the Ventanas neighborhood so this location is extremely convenient. A lot of military families attend here and we have always felt in good hands. My son LOVES going and has made the best little friends here. They make crafts, play outside, and are well cared for by their teachers. They have themed days and have been teaching my son colors, counting, and more. We have not had any type of negative experience and if we’ve had any situations (ex: billing, sickness, injury) Ms Angela has been quick to reach out and resolve. This is my first born and as a first time mom I had a lot of anxiety and questions sending my kid to daycare. APG patiently answered all of my questions and I wouldn’t think twice about sending any other of my future kids here.
