A Place For Kids

This place has been around for a loonnnggg time. It went thru some up and downs and fell apart for a bit but it's definitely back on the right track. Lesson plans are done everyday. Breakfast, lunch and snack are always on time and the teachers that were bringing the place down have been removed. I give them 4 stars because the director has bent over backwards to make this daycare better after being almost the only one to put it back together. Teachers aren't on their phones and they are communicating with parents better. Some teachers anyway. If things could stay this way it could only get better.

I called them this morning to inquire on spots available for my 3 year old for part time hours. They said absolutely and informed me that I could stop by anytime for a tour. So I dropped in after work around 5:15. When one of the workers informed the other that I was here for a tour she huffed and puffed and said well she is going to have to wait a minute. In which I don’t mind, it was just the tone of voice. While I am waiting I heard at least 3 workers yelling at kids condescendingly. She then came to give me the tour and was rolling her eyes like I was doing her an inconvenience by being there. She showed me each room and most every teacher never acknowledged me except the infant room teacher she was the only one to acknowledge and smile. The lady that gave me the tour was texting while guiding me. Once we were finished we stopped at the front window and she spoke with another employee about some credit card machine issues they were having for what felt like 3 minutes. I was so taken back by their customer service I just froze. Then she said “well, do you have any questions” and I say, “ are you the supervisor?” She says no. Then I ask when she will be in, she says this evening while rolling her eyes with an attitude. I would never allow my child to go here and I am still so absolutely shocked that this is how they treat their potential customers especially when we’re talkjng about the welfare of my child. You should be ashamed and find new teachers!
