I cannot fully express just how grateful I am for the incredible staff at Millie’s House. As a parent, making the best choices for your children is always a priority, and one of the hardest decisions I faced as a new mother was choosing the right daycare. Looking back, I am beyond thankful that I chose Millie’s. Both of my boys started there at just four months old, and they have truly thrived under the care of the amazing teachers. I’ve seen remarkable growth in their development, often surpassing others their age. Every teacher has been nurturing, supportive, and genuinely caring. My boys absolutely love coming to daycare, where they get to learn, make friends, and explore new experiences every day. Thank you, Millie’s House—we love you!

As first-time parents, choosing childcare was a big decision, but we couldn't be happier with where we landed. The teachers and staff at Millie's House are absolutely incredible. They've created such a warm, welcoming, and educational environment for my daughter, filled with amazing activities. My little one went here four years ago. I really liked their administration team back then. (Not sure if the team is still the same now.) They were very nice and prompt in responding to our questions and concerns. The place would also give gifts to kids on holidays. They gave my daughter a brand new big winter jacket and she is still wearing it! Very nice place and very nice people!

I have been so happy with our experience at Millie’s house. The teachers in our son’s infant room are all terrific! They are all so caring and knowledgeable. They have really helped us navigate the first year as he is our first. There is great communication throughout the day with the app, which I really appreciate seeing while I’m not with him. There are so many smiling faces at drop off and pickup, I think that says a lot about the teachers and the experience these kids are getting! I’m so happy we found Millie’s house!

I have sent my three kids there, starting back in 2016 (and currently still there) and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Very low teacher turnover (which right there tells you everything) and personalized care for your child. Management is so kind and helpful for any question or issues that come up. Big plus is the affordability as compared to other area daycares. They have a super big and shady backyard playground that the kids play in twice a day, including fun “water days” in the summertime. The teaching curriculum is fantastic and I’ve notice how far above grade level our kids (and others) are when starting CPS after Millie’s. They constantly have fun themed days/activities for the kids. After 7 years there, I have not had or even heard of any discipline related issues. Meals are home cooked in-house and they somehow get my kids to eat veggies and try new foods. The infant room teachers are incredibly sweet and supportive - great with your instructions but so experienced and attentive. I always felt so safe leaving my infants there. They now have an app with updated meal, nap and diaper info and with pictures. There are many happy tears from teachers, kids and parents when it’s time to graduate to a new room. Millie’s House really is a second family for us and many others in the Logan Square/Avondale community. Would give 10 stars if I could.
