When we moved from Corpus to San Antonio I looked everywhere for a daycare that would work with me and a place that I would have no worries leaving my son while I worked. Ms. Hunter is. Lovely lady who made us feel like family. She treated my son as one of her own. Everything she does at the center is for those kids. She took them on field trips as also to ihop to show off the manners and etiquette skills. My son truly excelled there and made great group of friends. Damien and Aly are so nice and genuine and very welcoming. I can’t express how much I love this place!
A Garden for Children is a great place for children. Ms. Hunter has a big heart. I have volunteered helping out with many giveaways, example school supplies, food. Etc. She cares about others once they leave the daycare center. Security is provided at the Daycare to help keep the children and staff safe. Cameras are up and rooms to doors where the children learn are locked with staff supervising. Front door is uplock where parents can walk in to be assisted by staff at the desk. It's a high level learning environment. Ms. Hunter always make sure the children has healthy meals and fun activities. Any parent would feel good about bringing their children to Ms. Hunter facility. She is well educated and has years (decades) of experience. The staff is very friendly. A Garden for Children is a safe place for your children to help them grow and be educated as they prrpare for regular school...higher learning. .
This is an outstanding Child Development Center! It is one of the best in Universal City. The director takes time to let you know exactly what her philosophy is on what the children will take away from the center. Her experience with families and young children leaves you feeling at ease about leaving your children. The center itself is inviting, clean, and the children are happy. The teachers seem to enjoy what they are doing and it shows in how they interact in the classroom. Childcare is a tricky business, but I think A Garden For Children has a very high standard for quality childcare. I would recommend this facility to everyone who is looking for a high quality experience for their child.
We LOVE this place!! My oldest son has been going here for almost 3 years! He was a preemie (31 weeks) and we were super picky about where to take him. We wanted to feel comfortable leaving him in their care when I returned to work. The staff was amazing with working with him to catch him up developmentally! By the time he was 2 and we took him in for his developmental checkup he was testing at a 3 year old level! We really like that the classes are small so they kids get a ton of one on one interactions! The food is healthy and taste great so the kids actually want to eat it! We had another son a few months and we were excited to start him there too. As for the lady complaining about the staff and safety, I have NEVER had a problem with either. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help in any way possible. Any time I have had any issues they have addressed and fixed them extremely quickly. We have been there so long that they are really family. We have always felt that both of our children are extremely safe being there. There is always someone to great you when you walk in! Another great plus is the price! It is very well priced compared to the other day cares around the area. They also do different fun things for the kids to learn in creative ways! Just the other day they had a dairy cow come and the gentleman taught them all about the cow and were milk comes from! If you are looking for a family ran, reasonably priced day care to love on and teach your kiddos, look no further than A Garden for Children!
I love Mrs hunter and she ran this center just fine kids were always feed good taking care of field trips to sealife Lego land and Mrs Hunter loves her students Mrs ally is a gem and very patient with the kids. People bring their troubled kids an didn’t want to take responsibility for their child’s actions. My kids never were harmed are mistreated they were taught respect and to be leaders
