A Child'S Touch

We found ACT in an online search for daycare/pre-K when moving to Thornton. They were extremely responsive to our email inquiry and shared all the curriculum, menus, and price list immediately alongside asking us to schedule a tour. The teachers are wonderful and everyone takes care to know your family. The pre-K curriculum has even the youngest (Aug-oct DOBs) on or above grade level and ready for any Kindergarten program. The school has so much creative and outside space for the kids that our child is always excited to go to school. My only complaint about the school is I have to decide between in-district Kindergarten or staying at ACT.

My little girl went to ACT. She was there for 6-7 months when she was 1.5 years old. We visited the child care center and seemed nice. But it was a nightmare. She was constantly getting sick and ended up in ER. Moreover, she used to get hurt frequently which was mere negligence I believe. I felt helpless as a working mother. We moved to another city and my girl went to a new daycare and the care was totally different in a good way. I figured my experience at ACT was not normal.

We heard about ACT from a friend and have been here about two months. It has been wonderful and we are so happy we sent our child here! We drop off and pick up our child knowing he has been well taken care of. The teachers are amazing. They do fun activities with the kids and help them with their developmental milestones. We highly recommend ACT to anyone!

Three years ago, a trusted family friend recommended A Child’s Touch to us—and we are forever grateful they did. From the moment we toured the campus, we were blown away. Choosing to enroll our daughters here has been one of the best decisions we've ever made for our family. All three of our girls have grown, learned, and thrived at ACT. The staff is not only highly educated but also incredibly thoughtful and creative in their approach to teaching. The lesson plans are fun, engaging, and designed to help children truly flourish—both academically and personally. One of the standout features of ACT is the incredible campus. With multiple playgrounds and outdoor spaces, our daughters had ample opportunity to play and learn outside. The staff makes a consistent effort to bring lessons outdoors, which our girls absolutely loved. The school also does a fantastic job incorporating the wider community into the learning experience, and their field trips were always something to look forward to. Faith is beautifully woven into the curriculum, and we’ve seen our daughters grow not only in knowledge but also in their relationship with God. It's been such a blessing to watch their faith develop alongside their education. The teachers at ACT are more than just educators—they have truly become family. They’ve loved, supported, and cared for our daughters in ways that have exceeded every expectation. Our oldest completed the kindergarten program here and has blossomed into an exceptional reader who is eager to learn every day. If we weren’t moving, there is no doubt that our other two daughters would continue on in the kindergarten program as well. Leaving ACT is incredibly bittersweet. This school has been such an important part of our family’s life, and it will be deeply missed. We are so thankful for the incredible foundation A Child’s Touch has given our daughters—academically, spiritually, and emotionally. We couldn’t have asked for a better start for them.

As a working parent, it hasn’t always been easy to balance my career with the desire to be present for every moment of my daughter's early years. That said, I feel so incredibly blessed knowing that while I’m away, my daughter is in the hands of people who truly love and nurture her. The teachers at A Child’s Touch have played such a vital role in her development—they’ve been like a second family, helping raise her with patience, warmth, and care. While my daughter is naturally a happy girl, I know that her daily happiness is in no small part thanks to the incredible environment created at the school. She starts her day excited and comes home just as cheerful. It amazes me to see how much she has learned—counting to ten, reciting the alphabet, singing tons of full songs—and I know these milestones are a direct reflection of the amazing teaching and support she receives from the staff. In addition to all my daughter's teachers, every staff member I have spoken to or worked with has been beyond helpful. ACT has a fantastic group of employees.
