A Child'S Space Early Learning Center

We started our daughter here last fall and it was a long journey of researching which day care was the right fit for us. We were also not the easiest to deal with because we almost immediately had to travel overseas so she was in one week gone the next and than back again. Mrs. Kimberlee was incredibly accommodating and at the same time provided a lot of very good information for us to think about when choosing the days we would take her and what we should be doing at home. Through the whole time there she has been incredibly responsive and now that our daughter has been going there for a bit she is learning new things and has stopped crying every time we drop her off. The videos and pictures she sends to us every day are priceless since we cant watch her on the app all day those pictures of yoga or crafting are great. We are currently going through the lockdown and the whole reason I am writing this review is how incredible she has been throughout. She is in constant communication, hosting virtual classes, providing us parents with ideas daily for how to continue to teach our kids and keep them busy. She has even provided some ideas for us parents to keep our sanity.

My daughter started attending A Child’s Space when she was 2. She is now 3 ½ and I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I found this daycare. It’s more than just a daycare. The education that my daughter has gained is priceless. The teachers are all very kind, warm and welcoming. My daughter is excited to see them when I drop her off in the morning. The director does an excellent job of managing her team and the facility. Everything is very clean and organized. The daily curriculum is well thought out, in line with CPS standards and it’s inclusive of all cultures. The director truly cares about the children and about doing everything that she can to educate them and help them excel. The teachers do a great job of engaging the kids throughout the day and always have fun projects and activities for the kids. I love that the have a camera so I can check in at any time. It also makes me feel like I am a part of my daughter’s day even when I am not with her. I have been so happy with our experience and would highly recommend A Child’s Space.

This is our son's first day care. We were very worried that he cannot adjust well because he were never exposed to a English environment before. Luckily, the teachers and the director Kimberlee were very patient and supportive. They took good care of my son. The small classroom size enables more individualized care for kids there. My son got great encouragement to speak more, both English and our native language. They have great curriculum. My son always bring home with his crafts. We found our son is getting more independent and outgoing. Every day, when I pick him up from the center, he has big smile on his face. He really enjoyed playing and learning with his friends and teachers. Ms Kimberlee and other teachers keep great communications with parents. They send us pictures, videos, and daily report online every day. The camera in the classroom makes us to see our son any time we want. They spent time to answer our questions and talk about our concerns. They also provide a lot of tips for parenting that helps us to grow too. We have to leave for family reasons. But my son and us will miss them. Thanks for their great work for taking care of my little one. We feel lucky to choose a child's space as our son's first day care.

Our son has been attending for almost 2 years and has been a delightful experience for both us and him. He has made meaningful bonds with his teachers and classmates. All of the teachers have been very kind and attentive. They always try their best to communicate about how the day has gone. For the first few weeks each day they would let us know how he was adjusting to the new setting. They genuinely care about each child. The teachers are open, warm, and communicative. The schools use of technology is outstanding. We are able to view in real-time through webcams to see what's happening in the classroom. Periodic email updates with pictures/videos displaying his current activity and a detailed daily report at the end of the day keeps us informed about what's going on. Using the details about his day we are able ask him relevant questions so he can tell us about his day. Each day they have fun/play time, but also have curriculum aligned with Illinois public school curriculum. Most days he asks to stay a bit longer to play in the big room at the end of the day.

My child has been attending A Child’s Space since she was 10 months old and she is getting ready to turn 4. I love the program this school offers, the educational path/structure and how fully engaged and transparent the school is with the parents. My daughter will be beyond prepared for the kindergarten experience on the education and social tracks which will hopefully set the stage for a great educational journey. I am so thankful I was able to have such a warm and loving experience for my child.
