What Parents Say
A CHILD'S PLACE YAKIMA receives mixed reviews. Three parents praise the staff's attentiveness, communication, security features, and caring approach to their children. However, two parents reported serious concerns including lack of supervision, staff phone use during outdoor play, poor communication about child care, and inadequate attention to a child's medical needs.
I took both my kids here 5 years ago they loved it here then they both went to school I had my son 2 years ago and put him in a year ago and again I was not disappointed. The staff do a great job with the kids. I know the outside may not look like it but I am telling you this place treats your kids really good. They also tell u of any incidents that may have occurred with ur child or another, they have cameras that they will happily show u.
I do not have kids and can only share what I saw while leaving Walgreens today.... at around 2pm 08/09/24, I was driving out of Walgreens I noticed all the kids were outside "playing" in that amazing asphalt area. A boy (7-11ish?) Was glued to an electronic device with 2-3 other kids staring at it as well. There were some younger kids (3-6) on the toys. The adult "watching" them, was also glued to her phone. I would be livid to know if I'm forking out hundreds and maybe more a month to have my kids be watched by someone that doesn't interact with them at all.
I finally decided to share my experience with this daycare in 2019: I took my daughter here and ended up taking her out a couple days later because there was absolutely zero communication with anyone there and I never even knew if they fed her or changed her then a blister she previously had on her ankle ended up getting extremely infected at the daycare but no one bothered at least putting a bandaid on it or trying to get her to keep her socks on, when I picked her up the teacher had no clue where her socks were and put another’s child socks on her. Worst experience ever and I didn’t even bother going and picking up her stuff after I took her out of the daycare because I didn’t even wanna go back there. Scared me to put her in another daycare so I stayed home with her another year till I found her a really great daycare she’s doing so much better in
They are so understanding and extremely inviting and really take the time to get to know your child. I highly recommend this place because my daughter loves it and I think it's a very secured place for your child!
