My experience with this center was extremely disappointing. My child never received the support or attention that was needed. Instead of helping, the staff made me feel as if my child was a burden from the very beginning. At one point, I was even told they were “not babysitters,” which made me question the purpose of the program. They also tried to reduce my child’s scheduled hours without any proper explanation. Communication was terrible — when someone called on my behalf to ask for information, there was no staff member available, and no one ever followed up. I had to contact the Department of Education myself just to understand my rights because the program never guided me or offered any real support. As a first-time parent, I felt taken advantage of and completely unsupported. This place gave me a very negative experience, and I decided to remove my child from the program. I truly hope they improve their communication, respect for families, and the way they support children — because what we received was only words and never real action.
I put my son here almost a year ago today in need of a daycare asap. Since he's been there my son has grew a lot with his class and teachers he started when he was two and didn't want to be bothered with no one but his teachers made sure that he felt welcomed and always took good care of him. They were always aware and noted when something wasn't right or just to follow up on the app. I ended up putting my daughter in here as well for the camp and I can say I don't regret it one bit it truly helped a lot with my work schedule and the hours they provided you cant go wrong. Both my kids enjoy it and will continue coming back.
My son has been attending a child’s place since he was 6months old, they have turned into family now my son is five and he’s still going to a child’s place where the staff have been respectful and have shown a lot of care even when my son had a hard time staying they showed concern and made me feel better by constantly showing me how my son was doing through out the day, now my son stays with no problem and enjoys the time there. All the staff do a great time taking care of the kids this is why I would want my son so leave soon 😩. They are great!!! ❤️Definitely recommend to all parents.
My Son, Joshua attends ' A Child's Place' School and Loves it. He has been in attendance since March of 2021. Joshua was speech delayed and has improved 100%. His teacher's, Ms. Tania and Ms. Jennifer are hands on and patient with Joshua. He Loves going to School and learns alot on a daily basis. I have noticed a huge improvement and am Happy that he is where he is. The staff is friemdly and informative. I will recommend parents to choose A Child's Place' for their child's learning.
When I say this place created memories for a lifetime, I am not even close to exaggerating. My 2 kids have spent a good part of their early lives here and the memories and the good times are always on our mind. From nursery to grade school, my kids were here every day and I never once had a bad experience with anyone that worked here. I truly felt part of the community there. I knew everyone from reception, to the office, to the classroom. I knew teachers/caretakers that weren't even taking care of my kids yet. Ms. Denice and Mr. Gregory set up an amazing place here to help me raise my kids. So much so, that even though my kids are big now, we still talk about ACP and all the good times. When we are in our old neighborhood, we always pass by the school just to look at it, even if it's closed. My kids are ACP Alumni forever.
