I was so happy when the A. C. Lewis Y reopened in my neighborhood! I love the childcare, the pool, and the weight room. Plus, I can walk on the track when the weather’s bad. They do a great job of keeping it a clean, happy, community-oriented place.
I’m enjoying the experience here at this location. I wish there were more classes designated to Seniors with disabilities. Lisa one of the instructor that teaches a chair class is amazing. Need more classes that she teaches please.
This gym is my everyday go-to because it is close to work. The facilities are beautiful and new. It can be frustrating to lift weights here, because several users tie up multiple pieces of equipment by leaving them loaded as they do supersets on 3+ pieces of equipment (think rows, squat rack, bench, and deadlift). This can make it hard to get a workout before work if I am spending 30 minutes for equipment to become available.
Great place to work out your body and mind. Not just a gym (and swim) but a service to the community and a community itself. The staff and the other members are friendly and easy to talk to or get help from.
