We could not be more thrilled with our experience at Golden Poppy! Our son started when he was just 5 months old, and now at 14 months, we can confidently say that this place has been a second home for him. The transition to daycare is a big step, especially for such a young baby, but Miss Andrea, the lead teacher in the Starfish class when our son started, made it unbelievably smooth. Her warmth, patience, and dedication immediately put us at ease, and more importantly, helped our son feel safe, happy, and loved. She was not just his teacher; she became his best friend, showering him with care and nurturing his curiosity every day. Miss Andrea and the entire staff have been instrumental in our son's development. From the tiniest milestones like sitting up and clapping to bigger ones like taking his first steps and forming his early words, they continue to cheer him on and provide a supportive, encouraging environment. Their activities are thoughtfully designed to engage and challenge children at every stage, and it has been amazing to watch our son learn, grow, and blossom under their care. We are so grateful to the entire team at Golden Poppy for creating such a loving and stimulating environment. They have given our family peace of mind and our son the best possible start!

I am so grateful for the Golden Poppy. Monique, the director, has been incredible the entire time we have been here (my oldest daughter attended this daycare, and now our youngest is here). She is communicative and responsible. Her passion for taking care of kids and making sure everyone is safe can be seen in her work every day. Diana was a teacher for my youngest (and I was nervous because she was only 6 months old when she started at the daycare). My daughter lights up every time she sees her and reaches out for her when we walk into the room. Diana is so gentle and loving with the kids. She regularly sends home adorable pieces of art that she creates with the kids. All of the teachers are amazing. We have been so thankful for their care and patience! We have loved our experience at Golden Poppy. Our daughter started here at 4 months old, and it has been nothing but a POSITIVE, SUPPORTIVE, HAPPY experience! It's scary sending your infant to daycare for the first time, but we found all the teachers to be so caring and loving. We've never had a single concern and feel that our daughter is getting the best possible experience in their care. The teachers love the kids SO MUCH and I truly feel they would do anything for them. The staff reports to us how things go every single day, send photos, and let us know about what activities they do with the kids. We have found them to be transparent if any issues come up, and to always try hard to find quick resolutions to any issues that arise. (Any issues that have come up have been extremely minor stuff. No concerns at all.) The outdoor space has recently been upgraded with higher and more secure fencing, as well, so that we feel that our child is safe in the playground areas. The kids get lots of outdoor time every day, and the school puts together wonderful activities and events every month. We really do feel lucky to have found Golden Poppy and plan to keep our daughter here for as long as we can.

Our son has been going to Golden Poppy Sorrento Valley since he was a little over 3 months old. He started out in the little bears infant room and has now, at 14 months, been attending the little ducklings class for 1 year olds. The staff and teachers do an outstanding job of taking care of our son. Additionally, they have done a fantastic job at educating him. I love seeing all the activities and social interactions he gets daily. Every day when he comes home I feel like he's got something new to show me whether it's a new baby sign or a new word. He's learned so much there and I can really see his confidence and independence growing along with him. Thank you to Miss Char, Miss Katrina, and Miss Courtney and well everyone there, cause they all make it happen, for the support, the helpful advice, and ofcourse for taking care of our little guy.

I wanted to write this review for Golden poppy. We feel incredibly fortunate to have secured a spot for my daughter in GP daycare, especially considering how competitive and challenging it can be to find a suitable daycare for infants. Our journey to find the right start for my little one was filled with extensive research and deliberation. I am thrilled and proud to say that having her at GP has been an absolute delight. I still remember the reassuring words and warm welcome I received on her first day, which immediately put my mind at ease. The photos that the team regularly shares with us have been a source of joy and comfort. They beautifully showcase the excellent care and attention to detail that is provided. I can't speak highly enough of the dedicated staff members, including Leilani, Katy, and Mandana. They have been incredibly sweet and have never hesitated to respond to my frequent messages. From the beginning, team has been nothing short of fantastic, and I hope this continues to flourish. By and large , this place is a safe and nurturing environment to grow and learn.
