Our daughter loves going to Denice's home for care. Denice does a great job balancing the needs of the different aged children. She keeps the kids engaged with lots of activities, crafts, and curriculum. She keeps parents updated with a private portal of photos and information. She understands the importance of being open as much as possible and gives plenty of notice for planned days off and appointments. We really struggled to find reliable, quality care and so glad we found Denice. Highly recommend!
We are so thankful we found 2nd Home Childcare! Denice is wonderful and she truly lives up to her name! Both our boys love her and their days so much! Denice’s experience shows through the structure yet flexibility she provides to kiddos and families. She has a great balance of structured learning, free play, and outdoor time AND she can get our boys to eat ANYTHING! Our oldest was there for 4 years leading to Kindergarten and he was both socially and educationally ready after Denice’s care! Our second has been there for another 2 and it is such a relief going to work knowing they are safe, loved, learning and having fun while I’m not with them!
Our daughter loves Denice! She is only 2 but knows all of her letters, numbers, and a majority of her shapes and colors. She tells great stories about fun time with her friends and doing her craft projects. We have had such a good experience that we are sending our next child also!

My youngest daughter had never been to a daycare before. Denice made the transition for all of us as smooth as possible. It was a wonderful environment, with structured days meant for learning, having fun, and enjoying outside play every day. The learning activities were very creative. There were many different toys to pick and play with, cute little “shops” set up at times, dress up days, singing, dancing, and so much more. My daughter still talks about wanting to go back to Denice’s. I highly recommend her.
