This is a nice gym with a big locker room, basketball court, spa, sauna, steam and outdoor pool. Unfortunately they don't provide towel service any longer. The staff is great here.

I have given feedback to the management and they have fixed one or two of the problems but there are still too many issues to rate any higher. The men’s locker room has never been clean in the 3 years I have been a member. There is always dirt and grime on the floor to include the showers. They remodeled the sauna which was awesome but then do not enforce the no shoes policy and it is very quickly becoming filthy again (one would not want to sit on the lower level because many patrons rest their dirty street shoes there and the wood is already very dirty and discolored). I have had to repeatedly ask others to please take off their shoes while in the sauna. There has often been a very fowl odor at the hot tub door near the smith machine. Last time I was there I had to try 5 treadmills before I finally found one that didn’t skip (I weigh 230#). Being open 24 hours is nice and it is quiet in the wee hours of the morning. They were very good about putting my membership on hold while i was deployed and then picking my contract up when I returned (I bought the pre-paid 2-year membership from Costco). The weights are very rarely put away in order. I will admit that many of the problems come from very ill mannered people, who leave trash and towels laying around, don’t re-rack their weights, wear dirty shoes in the sauna, etc. However, I expect the place to be clean and orderly regardless of the patronage. Enforce your rules and kick people out if they don’t follow them. I will not be renewing my membership upon expiration. They need a cleaning staff to be working 24/7 and they need a full time employees to do nothing but re-rack weights properly if they aren’t going to enforce the patrons to do the right thing. They might think that they are going to alienate some if they enforce the rules but they will attract better people in the long run and we don’t want slobs in the gym anyway.

A lot of these reviews are from when this gym had completely different management and staff. I've been coming here for a good 6 or 7 years and it's definitely improved. The older equipment is replaced regularly, the bathrooms and showers are clean, and the members are mostly good people without attitudes. They have a regular cleaning woman and maintenance guy who keep things in order. Don't believe some of these reviewers who talk about mold, dirty lockers, and rude staff because it just isn't that way....at least now it isn't. Can't wait till they re-open after this virus madness. What was reasonably clean before is probably sparkling now.

I like this gym and have been a member for years. The group classes are good, the weight area is nice and the locker room is good too. I gave 3 stars because the cardio machines need servicing much more often than what's happening currently. I understand they get a ton of wear and tear, but everyday I have to switch machines multiple times to get one that works smooth. The monthly membership is more than LVAC, which I'm fine paying, but for the $, the machines need to work on a consistent basis.

Very nice facility, I’m used to the one on Tropicana next to 515 which is less than a year old. The showers here are old style and insides of showers and walls/doors are so covered in soap scum it looks like they haven’t been cleaned ever... Pedro the overnight cleaner at Tropicana/Mt Vista does a much better job. Outdoor pool here is a nice touch though. Enjoyed sunbathing.
